We suddenly find ourselves scouring a hotel at the last minute this rainy Friday night. If not for our household help, we wouldn’t know that there would be a “scheduled” 6-hour power interruption in our area. With a toddler and a 3-month old baby sleeping through the night without electricity is no option for us.
The nearest hotel with vacancy and what we think fits the budget is Seda at BGC. So we packed an overnight bag and checked-in. It was an unplanned and instant vacation that at first we thought we don’t need. But after a few hours we realized that it was a blessing, that it was a sweet ending to a busy and stressful week. Much deserved.
Seda BGC, is one of the two hotels we know at Fort Bonifacio. Being a new hotel, it was expected that everything would be clean and new. It definitely did not disappoint. The interiors were of clean lines and modern eco-friendly materials. The staff was very accommodating. We did not have time to check out the pool and lounge area but the lobby though quite small had macs set up for free internet use for guests. The coffee shop where the breakfast buffet was set up is a bit small too but the food compensated it as I have enjoyed their simple spread.
Definitely a place I would recommend especially for those who wants to tour around High Street and Serendra which is only a few steps away.
